In creating our first Maison Monarque collection, we had the desire to design garments that affirmed
“I know where I come from.
Our respect for the origins of our products required, in order to be coherent, that we question our supply and production chains. Beyond its function, we believe that clothing is a support of values. We were left to deal with two paths: what we don’t want and what we do want.
We do not want a consumerist fashion. No fast fashion. No programmed obsolescence. We do not want a fashion that enslaves, exploits, mistreats. No overbidding without limits. We do not want a fashion that marginalizes, stigmatizes, excludes. We do not want a fashion that exploits people and destroys our planet.
We want a conscious, responsible, transparent fashion that is concerned about its human and natural resources. We want a fashion that respects people, know-how and balance. A fashion synonymous with solidarity, development and inclusion. A joyful and sustainable fashion. A rare and unique fashion. Fashion with a human face and ethical creativity.

Beyond the “We love fashion” that motivated the creation of Maison Monarque, we want our brand to participate in a world in motion that reinvents new and more sustainable models every day. More specifically, we want our project to be part of the ongoing “fashion revolution”. Li Edelkoort, fashion forecaster, dares to be radical by stating:
“Today, everything is absurd in fashion.
I would change everything »
Everyone, at their own level, has this power today. Change fashion so that it becomes alive and sustainable for everyone.
We want a fashion
generating fulfillment for everyone.
The one who thinks,
the one who produces,
the one who buys,
the one who carries.
